An official state ranking tournament for veteran players, organised by Kalpavruksha Public Charitable Trust with the Mumbai City District Table Tennis Association, under the auspices of MSTTA, MSVTTC and MCDTTA.

Reporting: 20 minutes before schedule for individual events, 30 minutes before for team events. Players should report to the Chief Referee 15 minutes before their scheduled match and inform the Chief Referee if they are delayed.
Age categories
Men compete in nine categories from 40+ to 80+, women in eight from 40+ to 75+.
A minimum of four entries is needed to hold an event. With fewer than four, players may choose to play in a lower age group.

Order of play: Smart Group A-X, B-Y, C-Z, A-Y, B-X. Clever Group A-X, B-Y, Doubles, A-Y, B-X. Doubles is announced with each event, subject to space and schedule.

How matches are played
Playing system
- Played under the current laws, rules and regulations of TTFI
- All matches are best of 5 games
- The Chief Referee's decision on interpretation is final and binding
Match conduct
- Stage 1: round-robin groups of three or four
- Stage 2: top two from each group go to the knockout main draw
- More than 40 entries: first 8 seeds skip the league
- More than 60 entries: top 16 advance automatically
Seeding and timing
- Team seeding is based only on points from the last tournament
- Seeding follows the team name; a new team name is not seeded
- In case of delay the Chief Referee may award a walkover
Any objection about seeding, ranking, draws or scheduling must be sent in writing or by email to msvttc@gmail.com before the event day. Concerns cannot be raised with the organisers or Chief Referee on the day of play.

This tournament is a State Ranking event. If a tie persists after the published tie-break criteria, the seeding committee may assign players to any position.

Prize money is paid by cash or cheque during the prize ceremony and must be collected before it ends. Medals, trophies and other felicitation are at the organiser's discretion. Check the MSTTA website for the full prize money chart.
